The creation of much of this book was penned during one of the most stressful times of my life. The trails cut through between the front desk and the bed where my wife lay and what seemed to be a helpless situation. It was easy to envision a lonely trail because it ran right by my chair. Crooks were easy to come by as characters, as everything I had was being taken from me. But I found out that if one kept both hope and faith there could be a happy ending.
