I sincerely hope you enjoy reading my story as I reflect back and share what I experienced growing up in the "country" in a small town in Southern Arkansas and developing an overwhelming desire to serve my beloved country, "the United States of America". I hope my story inspires youth and young adults to strive for a meaningful purpose in life as I did. I truly believe anyone can be or do anything they choose in life if they allow themselves to be guided by the right values. I am forever grateful for the southern values my parents instilled in me.
