An angry red sun had slammed the desert night door shut early this morning. Judson Quigley's eyes followed what appeared to be a faint dust cloud to the west. After what must have been a half hour, he had determined that it was a lone rider on a very tired horse. He realized that in a short while he would have to find a more inconspicuous place, a place that should the rider pass close by, he would not be seen unless he wanted to be. When he wiped the sweat from his eyes, all he could see now, however, was the beginning of another attack from a golden blazing sun, and of course, that swirl of dust. A classic story of two men's perseverance against all odds.
